Amanda Monroe, LPC, NCC, Registered Play Therapist
Fostering social and emotional growth is essential to your child’s growth. I strive to implement directive and non-directive play therapy practices to meet the social and emotional needs of toddlers, young children, pre-teens and teens. I work with those who have ADD or ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, delays in social skills, peer conflict, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and those who are struggling to adjust or may be searching to find themselves.
I offer individual, group, and family counseling. I am a Registered Play Therapist that integrates both directive and non-directive play therapy services into the work I do. I offer Filial Therapy (attachment based play therapy) and Child Parent Relational Training classes, as well as Parent Consults.
